Rehearsal InformationRehearsals for the Woodbridge Community Choir (WCC) are every Monday (including holidays) beginning the last Monday in August for the Christmas season or the last Monday in January for the Spring season and will continue every Monday through the last Monday just prior to the concert dates that will take place the following weekend. Rehearsals are from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with about a 7 minute break midway through rehearsal. Rehearsals for each season end after the concerts, unless otherwise announced. You may attend one rehearsal for free but must register to continue attending rehearsals. A packet of choral music is provided to you at your first rehearsal but must be turned in before you leave rehearsal unless you have registered and paid the registration fee, in which case you may take the music home with you. Excessive absences from rehearsals may result in dismissal from WCC for the current season. Contact the Musical Director if you have extenuating circumstances. There are on-site rehearsals at each concert location(s) usually on a Monday night prior to the concert. The on-site rehearsal is mandatory but does not require that you come dressed in concert attire. (That is why we do not call it a dress rehearsal) |

Rehearsals or concerts will be cancelled if Prince William County Government offices are closed due to inclement weather or if for any reason the rehearsal or concert facility becomes inaccessible. Notices will be placed on the main page of this website and on Facebook if a rehearsal or concert is to be cancelled. You may also contact any member of the WCC board to find out about cancellations. |
